About the event

Org Redesign for the Agentic Age — Leadership Bootcamp

Bring a real organizational challenge, your own or a client's. Over two days, you map the organization with Org Topologies, find where work gets stuck between teams and departments, and leave with a practical redesign direction and first steps to test it, so faster AI-assisted work finally shows up in business results.

For leaders and consultants who change how organizations are set up. Includes the path to Certified Org Topologies Consultant (C-OTC).

Why This Bootcamp

Picture a leadership team you have probably sat in. The engineering director says, "What used to take days now takes hours. Sometimes minutes." The head of product asks, "Everyone seems faster individually with AI. So how come we are already behind our yearly roadmap?" And the CEO, just back from a conference, wants to know when AI will let the company stop hiring.

Each sees the problem through the lens of their own responsibilities. Without a shared view of the organization and where it should go, "adopt AI" is not a direction.

We call it the Ferrari Trap. Add fast cars to a jammed highway, and the jam only gets worse. The jam sits in the organization: who owns which outcome, how many teams one piece of work must pass through, who is allowed to decide what. Faster AI-assisted work does not sort any of that out by itself.

So this is a different kind of AI bootcamp. Tools, prompts, and implementation are covered well elsewhere. Here we spend two days on the structures, mandates, and management choices that decide whether AI moves business results at all.

Org design first, then AI.

Who Should Attend

This bootcamp is for people who actively shape how organizations are set up, from the inside or the outside:

  • Senior leaders and executives

  • Organization design and transformation consultants

  • Agile, product, and engineering leaders

  • HR leaders involved in strategic change

  • Enterprise coaches and transformation leads

  • Independent consultants working with leadership teams

You work in small groups, each on a real organization that someone in the group knows well. A good case:

  • has 50 people or more

  • is a product or R&D organization, not a consulting firm

  • has a business strategy you can explain

  • has a structure you know well, down to the team names

No suitable case of your own? You join a group working on someone else's.

Leaders get the most out of it when they come with one or two colleagues; the Duo and Triple tickets are made for that.

Format

Three threads run side by side:

  • Theory: Org Topologies models and principles, in short, focused inputs

  • A case: a realistic end-to-end story from the 10X Org narrative, so you see each idea applied before you apply it yourself

  • Your context: hands-on work in small groups on a real organization, using the Org Design Studio

The Studio runs through both days on one wall, in three parts: Business (why the organization exists and what its strategy is), Analysis (where the gaps are), and Org design (what it needs to become).

Expect more design work and discussion than lecturing.

Obeya for Organizational Evolution

That wall is your Obeya, Japanese for "big room": one place to bring strategy, evidence, and design constraints together to make decisions. The 10X Org book describes it as an Elevating Kata, "Using Obeya for Org Topology Evolution."

By the end of day two, the wall holds a practical redesign direction and first steps to test it, ready to take back to work on Monday.

What You Will Learn

After the bootcamp, you will be able to:

  1. Use organization design as a practical lever on performance

  2. Explain why repeated reorganizations, agile transformations, or AI initiatives fail to stick, and what to do differently

  3. Choose between Resource, Delivery, and Adaptive topologies for a given purpose

  4. Align strategy, structure, mandates, learning, and incentives so they reinforce one another

  5. Build an AI-ready vision for your organization and a realistic path toward it

  6. Use AI to broaden skills and mandates, instead of automating today's constraints

  7. Design organizations that learn faster, adapt better, and perform at a higher level

Key Topics Covered

  1. Organization design as a strategic discipline

  2. What AI and agentic work actually change in roles, team scope, and decision rights, and what they don't

  3. Galbraith's Star Model: why strategy, structure, processes, rewards, and people must fit together

  4. Org Topologies mapping: seeing your current organization design and how it behaves

  5. Mandates: how the scope a team is allowed to own shapes its intelligence, human and artificial

  6. The M.A.D.E. loop (Map, Assess, Design, Elevate) for evolving an organization step by step

  7. Multi-learning and cognitive load: how broad a team's skills can grow without overwhelming the team

  8. Using AI to amplify human learning and adaptability

  9. Vendor pressure and FOMO: owning your organization's direction instead of renting it

  10. Elevating Katas: small, repeatable routines for practical, high-impact change

Trainer

Alexey Krivitsky is an organizational design advisor, co-creator of Org Topologies (with Roland Flemm), and co-author of 10X Org, an Amazon-#1-bestseller in Management Science. He helps leaders design and evolve their organizations for the agentic AI age.

He started as a software engineer in Kyiv in 2000 and still builds software with AI agents himself, so the agentic side of this bootcamp comes from practice, not from reading about it.

Since 2010, he has worked with product organizations including BMW, Boehringer Ingelheim, Rovio, Flix, PandaDoc, and PrivatBank. Earlier, as a Certified Scrum Trainer and Certified LeSS Trainer, he trained thousands of practitioners and leaders worldwide, and he founded the Agile Eastern Europe conference. 10X Org and Org Topologies

The bootcamp draws on two bodies of work. Org Topologies™ is an organizational design and management system: a map and a shared language for seeing how your organization is set up and deciding where it should move next.

The book 10X ORG, written as a business novel, follows one company through that journey and adds the principles and Elevating Katas that make it practical.

One 10X ORG idea runs through the whole bootcamp: org design, then AI. Start with what the organization needs to achieve. Then explore how people and AI can make it possible.

Org Topologies helps you:

  • Connect strategy with structure, so the strategy survives contact with the org chart

  • Improve the quality of change through a simple, shared design language

  • Get change going with small, experimental steps instead of big-bang reorganizations

Get Certified

The bootcamp is the first step toward becoming a Certified Org Topologies Consultant (C-OTC). The full path is included in the ticket price:

  1. Attend both days and receive an Org Topologies Consultant certificate of attendance.

  2. Apply Org Topologies in a real organization and collect the artifacts as you go: maps, assessments, design decisions.

  3. Within three months, write an experience report about what you did and what you learned, with mentoring from our trainers along the way.

  4. Once your report is reviewed and accepted, you will receive the C-OTC accreditation.
