10X ORG: OUR UPCOMING BOOK

A Manager’s Guide to Elevating Business Performance with People and AI

10X ORG Powered by Org Topologies, the book

Defining 10X Org

> How can our organization learn, adapt, and perform fast enough to stay 10X relevant, not just 10X efficient?

This is the book’s central question.

You won’t 10X an organization by tweaking processes, renaming roles, or handing out GPT licenses inside silos. That is surface-level change. It amplifies the status quo instead of transforming it. 10X is not more activity or motion.

> 10X is more adaptability, more impact, more relevance.

See 10X as your aspiration, a push against 1X stagnation: rerunning the playbook and hoping for change.

See 10X as your call to action, as performance leaps become real and human-plus-AI orgs rise.

Connection to Org Topologies:

Org Topologies™ (OT) is a practical change method that the 10X ORG book describes and teaches.  Org Topologies is the first human-centric plus AI-friendly organizational change approach. OT helps keep strategy, structure, and learning aligned.

OT’s core premise:

> Organizational design matters.

In fact, it may matter now more than ever. Org design is not only about structure or how work moves. It is the scaffolding for people: who works with whom, which decisions they own, which skills they develop, and how quickly they grow. Org design sets the conditions for where human judgment compounds and where it gets sidelined. That is why it remains one of the most powerful levers of performance.

Think of 10X Org as the smile and Org Topologies as the daily flossing that makes the smile possible.

Connection to AI:

Whether you are skeptical, optimistic, or pragmatic about AI, the framing of 10X holds because it is agnostic to timelines. If AI progress is slower, adaptability still matters. If it is faster, it becomes non-negotiable. Either way, the point is to build organizations that can systematically elevate performance.

We believe 10X is the win-win-win worth aiming for: for organizations, their clients, their employees.

Leaders of large organizations and owners of small firms must seize the chance to elevate their game. And startups should use this book’s ideas to scale without bureaucracy and leapfrog incumbents before they can react.

Stay tuned for the book release.

Alexey writes on LinkedIn:

The book is not about AI. It is about building great organizations by elevating people.

The vehicle for elevation is allowing people to realize their true potential: multi-learn and M-shape. In terms of organizational design, the goal is to form more versatile teams that work on outcomes and expand beyond what is known.

This has all been true before, but it has become more relevant these days as AI will eventually start taking our jobs. That’s still yet to come, likely in 2027-2028. But already now, we see how the “AI promises” in the minds of executives create the sense of urgency and build up expectations on the human workforce.

So we—the humans—need to get better. ‘Elevate our game,’ as Craig puts it. And not just 10%, but bringing our full potential to the workplace.

So the book is not about AI but very much about AI as well.

The good news here is that AI is a threat, but also an excellent accelerator for human elevation. The 10X Org book is structured as a business novel, followed by principles, theory, real stories, and then ‘elevating katas’ on how to start applying AI strategically to get to 10X.

Stay tuned.
